COVID-19 Patient Letter from SWMTCHC

coronovirus patient letter

March 12, 2020

Re: Coronavirus care

Dear CHC patient:

We know you are concerned about the coronavirus pandemic and we wanted to inform
you of the precautions we are taking at the clinic to combat the spread of the virus and keep our patients as safe as possible. If you have concerns you are infected, please call your clinic
to talk with a triage nurse.

In Butte, to limit virus exposure, starting March 16 the clinic will have an alternate entrance for people with respiratory or gastrointestinal acute symptoms. The pediatric entrance, which is located at the south entrance, adjacent to Centennial Ave., has been designated for that purpose.

We also urge all patients to sign up for the secure patient messaging system the clinic uses called MyChart. That is the safest and quickest way to get updated information about the coronavirus as well as any needed attention by your care team. If you have not done so already, please call us at (406) 723-4075 to set up the account.

We also urge you to follow the common-sense instructions given by the Butte-Silver Bow County’s Butte Unified Health Command or your local county health department or the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at www.cdc.gov. You may also check our website at www.swmtchc.org for updates.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Malone                                                                      Dr. Shawna Yates
